Ni kanske minns att jag fick en skatt för ett tag sedan? Jag blir fortfarande lycklig ibland av att bara titta på alla fina dukar jag har, som olika personer gjort för länge sedan. Några av dem har nu blivit till ett linne. Det tog lång tid, med mycket flyttande fram och tillbaka och det var svårt att sy dem ihop på ett någorlunda vettigt sätt. Men, jag är ändå ganska nöjd med resultatet! En sak som stör mig är att det blev lite oformligt i ena ärmhålet.
Inspirationen kommer förstås från en massa fantastiska skapelser på Pinterest. Om det är någon som använder Pinterest och blir nyfiken, så har jag en anslagstavla som heter "The wonderful world of doilies and laces".
Nu funderar jag på om jag ska färga det, eller låta det vara som det är. Vad tycker ni?
Maybe you remember that I got a treasure a while ago? It still makes me happy sometimes to just look at all the nice doilies I have now, that different people made long ago. Some of these doilies have now become a top. It took a while with a lot of moving back and forth, and sewing them together was not the easiest task. But I am still pretty content with the result! There is just some bad shape in one of the armholes that bugs me.
The inspiration for this is, of course, from a lot of amazing creations I've seen on Pinterest. If you get curious, my pin board (?) is called "The wonderful world of doilies and laces". Now I'm thinking about if I should colour the top or leave it as it is. What do you think?
